
Opt Out management
For both Customer Service and Legal reasons it is important to ensure 'Opt Outs' are managed professionally.
Every marketing message must include advice about how someone can Opt Out from receiving any further SMS's. This is mandated by law but is also important to respond to customer perferences.
If your SMS Account receives a reply of Stop, End, Unsubscribe or several other options that mobile number is kept and 'flagged' to ensure they will not receive any further SMS mesages from your Account.
The SMS software will block that number even if you re-import the number again or if you select to send a campaign to ALL the people on your list.
It is also very easy to scan all inbound message and add a number to the blocked list if they replied with something like: "Please don't send any more because I have moved."

Automatic response to Opt Out requests are sent to confirm the request has been received and noted.
